Coach Bryant Carter is an experienced football coach and former player with a passion for developing athletes both on and off the field. A graduate of St. Augustine High School, Bryant went on to play for the Crescent City Kings and had stints in training camps with the Columbus Lions and Mississippi Raiders. His playing background includes extensive experience in both defensive and offensive roles, particularly in the defensive backfield.

Bryant's coaching career began in 2014 at Marrero Middle School, where he served as Defensive Backs Coach. He continued to expand his coaching repertoire at Smothers Academy as a Wide Receivers Coach (2016-2017) and has since held key coaching positions at KIPP Leadership Academy, Eleanor McMain High School, and St. Augustine High School. Since 2022, he has been coaching defensive backs at St. Augustine, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team.

At KIPP Leadership Academy, Bryant contributes to all sports programs, helping foster a well-rounded athletic environment. His deep understanding of the game, coupled with his dedication to player development, makes him a valued coach in any setting.

Bryant holds a degree from the University of Southeastern Louisiana and continues to impact young athletes with his knowledge, discipline, and mentorship.
