Clyde Alexander is a seasoned football coach and former college linebacker, known for his dedication and expertise in the sport. Born and raised in Louisiana, Clyde attended Edna Karr Magnet School for his high school education, where he first honed his skills on the football field.
After high school, Clyde pursued his passion for football at Nicholls State University, playing as a linebacker for the college team. His experience as a player at the collegiate level provided him with invaluable insights into the game, which he later translated into his coaching career.
With a commitment to excellence, Clyde embarked on a coaching journey that spanned over a decade. He spent five years as a high school coach, with four of those years dedicated to St. Augustine High School and one year at White Castle High School. Notably, during his tenure at White Castle, Clyde led the team to the state championship, showcasing his leadership and strategic prowess on the field.
In addition to his high school coaching experience, Clyde served for nine years as a DL/LB trainer for Edge Assassins, where he played a pivotal role in developing over 50 Division 1 athletes. His expertise in defensive line and linebacker training has earned him recognition and respect within the football community.
Currently, Clyde Alexander works at Prive Luxury Hair, alongside his involvement with the Alexander Development Group. While his professional endeavors extend beyond the football field, his passion for the sport remains unwavering. Whether coaching aspiring athletes or contributing to his community, Clyde continues to make a lasting impact through his knowledge, dedication, and love for the game.
